First question from the kids (Lee is 18... ;-)) at the airport: 'How long do we have to driiiivvveeee?!?!?'. We: 'one hour - not far!' The kids: 'Oh nooo, one hour!?! And we're huuuungry'. We start driving - with traffic on the highway along the sea (Saturday beach day in Italy), discussions between Isabell and Stephan about the best way and a seemingly endless search for Trullo Duniya, we arrive at our vacation home after 4 hours. We get lost several times, it's hot, all the snacks are gone - but the mood stays positive. We drive through the Vale d'Itria, a beautiful hilly landscape covered with almond and olive groves - in between, white-washed trulli with their pointed, cone-shaped roofs appear. Arriving at our trullo, we immediately jump into the beautiful pool and enjoy the stunning location at sunset.
