Today we traveled from Puttgarden through Heiligenhafen, Lübeck, across Schleswig Holstein and Lower Saxony, past Fryburg to Triptis.

Here we managed to get a room at the Landhotel Schuhmann. I had an excellent rabbit roast with red cabbage and potato dumplings for dinner.

We covered quite a few kilometers and avoided the dark clouds in the sky, which we succeeded in doing about 85% of the time.

The nearly 550km drive was mostly through cornfields, occasionally interrupted by a few sunflowers and cornfields. I've never seen such enormous fields before.
