1st day in Australia

After a 7-hour flight, then a layover in Cairns, we unfortunately could not continue flying due to an engine failure. With a 2-hour delay, we continued to Brisbane. Another 2-hour flight. Finally, the luggage, then arrived at Britz rental by taxi, filled out all the forms, took over ... and at 4:00 pm we started. Still shopping... And only rain, rain, rain. Pure disappointment. It was getting dark at 6:00 pm after 80 km and at 6:15 pm it was dark. We were able to stay at a secluded campsite parking lot. After 36 hours on our feet. Local time was 9:00 pm when we fell asleep exhausted. And it was still raining - no, it was pouring.
