On Sunday morning, we continued on to Ilha do Mel. We traveled for a relatively long time by bus and a small boat for a three-hour stay on the island, but the sea, the waves, and the view after a short hike to the lighthouse were worth the trip. In the evening, we returned to cool Curitiba. There was a lot going on in the streets, the presidential election had just been decided, and many cars were honking through the streets, like in Germany during a football World Cup.
