27.02. Nature and Wine

Today we went on a full-day 'Margaret River Nature and Wine Tour' (organized by the 'Innkeepers'). It was a good mix of very special forests, beaches, geological formations, and wineries. At Hamlin Bay, you could even observe large stingrays from the beach. The huge eucalyptus trees in the Karri forests are extremely impressive. The surf at the beaches is powerful. Now we also know why this region is a surfer's paradise. We also spotted the first kangaroos. And of course, the wine tastes excellent...
