Today was transfer day. In the early morning, we left Hyden to drive to Perth airport (about 380 km). We were rewarded with a fantastic sunrise for getting up early. At noon, we flew to Adelaide with Qantas (flight duration 2 hours 50 minutes). Suddenly, it was 2.5 hours later (we haven't had half-hour time difference before). With our new rental car (this time a Peugeot Captiva), we went straight to Williamstown in the Barossa Valley, about 60 km northeast of Adelaide. Another famous wine-growing region. More about that tomorrow. Our accommodation (Queens Cottage) is a whole house with 3 bedrooms and a full fridge. Always good to have options....
