Der Baikalsee ist sehr tief. Vorsicht! !Published: 26.08.2017
As I urgently needed it, I went to a barber in Irkutsk. But more about that later.
We started the day with a Russian breakfast again. Afterwards, we went to the Baikal Museum. There you could see Baikal seals, the Baikal fish Omul, and other native animals. In addition, there were numerous exhibits about the lake.
Afterwards, we took the march route (small buses) to Irkutsk and checked in again at Hostel 3952.
Vero and I then went to a traditional barbershop. Due to language barriers, it didn't turn out exactly as I wanted. However, the whole treatment on site was unique. I have never experienced anything like this in Germany.
In the evening, we went to the city for a few drinks.
Beforehand, we decided not to go to Olkhon Island, although everyone recommended it. Our new destination is Baikalsk, a small town on the eastern shore of Lake Baikal. More information about that when we are on site.
Greetings from Irkutsk from the five of us :-)
