Über den Dächern von Berlin

This morning the alarm clock rang at 6:30 am. We were all still pretty tired. But eventually we had to be at Alexanderplatz at 9 am sharp. And that for no other reason than to go up the TV tower. We took the elevator 203m up to the observation deck. It went pretty fast. From there we had a breathtaking view of Berlin. We discovered many sights that we had already seen from the ground, such as the Brandenburg Gate, the Victory Column, the Berlin Cathedral, the Reichstag building and many other great things.

Afterwards it was finally time... SHOPPING!!!! Finally we could spend our saved pocket money with full hands. We still hung out at the festival 'Berlin lacht'. Some strolled through KaDeWe, took a walk on KuDamm, others went to Checkpoint Charlie.

Suddenly summer, sun, sunshine was over. A heavy thunderstorm came up and it was raining buckets. We quickly made our way to the subway and went back to the house.

After dinner, we sat together, played and laughed and reviewed the day. Everyone was looking forward to bed, as well as being able to sleep a little longer the next morning...
