5th Day - Goodbye slope, hello roof of Germany!

Today we went skiing again and everyone could say afterwards that they had achieved their goals for the week. In the afternoon, we used our ski passes to ride the new cable car to the Zugspitze. The weather was unfavorable, but the ride along the cliff was spectacular. Up at 2962m, some students struggled with fear of heights, while the rest enjoyed the 'view', which consisted mainly of clouds and a overpriced souvenir shop. However, there was the opportunity to visit two small museums or to eat in the restaurant.

We spent the last evening as a cultural evening with many smaller contributions. Poems, songs, speeches, and quizzes were presented or conducted. In the end, we played a game show against the (ski) teachers. Of course, the students won and we could go to bed satisfied in the evening.
