After a very calm night, we started early at 9:30 am. Over 800 km were ahead of us. Our destination, the Upper Palatinate, more precisely, Lake Steinberger near Amberg. Why the Upper Palatinate? A former colleague of Chris lives here and had already invited us to visit him and his family on the way there. After a brief consultation with him, we accepted this invitation on the way back. He recommended a very nice pitch right by the lake.
And we reached it at 7 pm.
The Upper Palatinate promises to be a nice ending to our prematurely ended but still beautiful Baltic trip.
