Since Belize is very expensive and we want to speak Spanish again, we are going back to Guatemala and staying one more night in Flores. Since we don't want to go back to Oliver's hotel, we book a room on the other side of the lake to see Flores from a different perspective.
After boating to the other side, we are warmly welcomed by the host, who also pays for the boat ride for us. What a difference between Guatemalan and German hospitality. (Oliver: 'I don't know what your budget is, but if you're not happy with the fan, you can add the air conditioning')
Before the sun sets, we walk directly to the nearby viewpoint, where we have a completely different perspective on the small island of Flores.
Afterwards, we swim under moonlight and for dinner, we have white fish and a fresh coconut.
