This morning, as usual, I started by feeding the calves and having breakfast. Since the German couple left today, I spent an hour chatting with them and helped them clean up. After that, I had to clean all four cabins - this time without any help.
By half past one I was done and I took a short break. At three o'clock, I finished taking care of Mosa and took her to the small meadow. But today it was really warm - it was 18 degrees on the thermometer, but much hotter in the sun - so I only rode for fifteen minutes and she was already completely sweaty.
At four o'clock, I got myself a yogurt because there is no lunch here when there are no guests. I spent the rest of the afternoon sitting outside, writing, and enjoying the sun. And I also cuddled with Jonas, who sat down next to me on the bench. In the meantime, I asked Ingveldur if the people from the other farms had responded yet. One farm replied, but at the moment they only have a couple from Poland and they didn't necessarily want to have contact with other people. However, the same farm will have a girl from Poland at the end of the summer, so they said we could see if she wants to have contact. Another farm currently has a 15-year-old girl, but she will be leaving in two weeks. The other farms - I don't know how many Ingveldur contacted - have not responded yet. It would be nice to meet someone like that. Maybe someone from Germany, then it would be much easier to communicate, but I would also be happy to meet someone of the same age from another country.
For dinner, we had lamb again. This time with potatoes and garlic sauce.
To end the day, I went on Demon again. It has become a really nice routine and a great way to end the day.
See you later
