Today we want to visit the market in Otavalo, which was highly recommended to us. When we set off, we stumble upon a parade that passes right in front of our hostel. We pause briefly and watch the spectacle. Afterwards, we take a bus ride of about 3 hours to Otavalo. When we arrive, we have to find the market first. With the help of the locals, we finally find the market and were visibly disappointed. We thought it would be larger. Maybe we were too late, as we were there at around 2pm. We stroll around the market and the city for about an hour before returning to the hostel for another 3 hours.
