On our second day in Banlung we took a trip on Mr. Soeun's TukTuk. First stop was a minority village, dusty like everything around Banlung. Lots of pigs and chicken, lovely kids, old women weaving scarves: simple and idyllic. Mr. Soeun showed us around and lead us down to the communal open-air bathroom. Next stop was the incredibly circular Yeak Laom lake, a holy place for the indigenous people. After a tasty lunch in a Khmer restaurant our last stop was a 10m waterfall west of Banlung. After the trip we really were happy to take a shower to get rid of all that red dust...
