Saint Malo

Our 6m van has a small bathroom with a toilet, for which we are very grateful at night. However, having a pitch with sanitary facilities is a nice thing. We weren't even aware that there are really many pitches that take their name literally. No toilets and sinks, just stand and dispose. So, better a campsite.

In Rothéneuf, a suburb of Saint Malo, there is such a literal pitch. The public toilets nearby were highly frequented in the morning... The bus stops right next to the pitch, and you can reach Intra Muros in 15 minutes. In May, you can stroll leisurely through the fortress and enjoy a lovely walk along the wall.
