The indigenous market in Otavalo is allegedly the biggest in all of South America. It is definitely huge, and in addition to that, it is also surrounded by hundreds of small shops that also offer jewelry, carpets, ponchos, belts, hats, paintings, etc. I have already spent all my pocket money for the next 3 weeks here, but I don't regret a single trade.
