The End!
The boarding in Oslo was a bit cumbersome. No wonder with this crowd of vehicles and people. While waiting in line, we get to know Luckas from Haslach. He is traveling by...

In early April 2025, my husband and I spent a weekend in Grömitz by the Baltic Sea. Enjoying beautiful weather with over 20 degrees on our arrival day, we could breathe in the delightful sea air and take a moment to relax.
The first evening by the sea rewarded us with a fantastic sunset, the sky ablaze with colors! Shortly after sunset, the lights on the pier turned on, and we enjoyed the view until it got too dark. We had a delicious dinner and ended the evening at the hotel bar with a cocktail.
After a hearty and wonderful breakfast at Hotel aja, which is directly by the sea, we strolled along the promenade on the second day, browsing through the shops, and later walked along the beach. The sun was shining, but it was noticeably cooler! At 9 degrees and with a strong wind, I was very glad to have my weatherproof jacket. The white clouds in the otherwise blue sky and the waves allowed us to take great photos. In the afternoon, we returned to the hotel to enjoy the swimming pool and sauna at the adjacent Grömitz Wave.
The third day was already Sunday. We checked out of the hotel in the morning, but with beautiful spring weather, we spent the whole day in Grömitz. First, we walked along the beach towards the harbor and then continued to the nearby chalk cliffs. In sheltered areas, it was warm enough for us to take off our jackets and continue in T-shirts. We walked along the chalk cliffs back to Grömitz, and we were delighted to see that the wood anemones were blooming everywhere! On the way back along the promenade, we met a friendly couple from Soltau, and we sat together for a while, enjoying a drink. We spent the afternoon in beach chairs by the sea, with snacks and a good book. And of course, we got the first sunburn of the year!
'A little sea does a lot for the soul' - it was wonderful!!!
