The Journey and the First Day

The food also kept us busy. After our fasting period, the first pasta in the plane was quite heavy, but the homemade breakfast the next morning was even better. Unfortunately, we had the first dessert before lunch. Although it was advertised as the 'best cheesecake in Vancouver', it was very heavy. In addition to visiting the info center, the Vancouver Lookout (168m high), and the steam clock, we also took a walk around the False Creek basin. It looks cozy on the map, but it got longer and longer. However, the view of downtown from this side with the snow-covered mountains in the background was great, and many trees and shrubs were already in full bloom.
