And here I am. In Brazil! What a culture shock, so different from Jamaica. Even in Jamaica, I didn't have to keep such a close eye on my bag as I do here. Of course, I visited the usual tourist spots. Santa Teresa, Cristo Redentor, Sugarloaf Mountain, Ipanema, Copacabana, and a visit to a favela. Unfortunately, I got mugged at the beach, which led to some payment problems. But I think that's part of traveling, being able to take a setback and figure out how to move forward...
