My name is Isabelle Brinkmann and you have come across my travel blog advena. Hello and welcome!

I was born on December 7, 1996, in beautiful Kiel, which is why I am always drawn to the water. My mother comes from the beautiful Masuria in Poland, where I spent most of my childhood, and my biological father comes from Colombia, which I really want to visit.

I finished my high school diploma in 2016 and I am currently in my gap year. During this time, I'm not only traveling, but also trying to help others. For example, at the moment I am in Zanzibar, the first stop on my trip, and I have been working in a kindergarten here. When preparing for my trip and my volunteer work, I always looked up travel blogs to get some insider tips and inspire myself.
