our travel blog appears somewhat irregular. The reason for this is our SIM card that we bought based on recommendations from travel books. Sometimes we have full reception with our 'INWI' card, but then again none at all. The Wi-Fi at the campsites also depends more on Allah than on antennas. But all of this also makes it mobile and exciting.
Azrou was a small place where we spent the night in the middle of a cherry tree garden.
After Azrou, we turned onto a narrow road into the cedar forests. A paved road that had more potholes than pavement. But in the middle of the forest, we encountered the Barbary macaques. Since this area is also a recreational area for the local population, the monkeys have also learned something, you have to tug at people's trouser legs, then you get a nut. Jasmin even taught him to jump high. However, these monkeys are generally very shy and only the boss of the group makes contact with humans.
We then continued to 'Lac Afnourir'. A wonderful lake on a plateau with lush green meadows, geese, and a slightly dilapidated pier into the water. Unfortunately, there was a rather clever wind on this plateau, otherwise we would have chosen this as our overnight spot.
