I urgently need to write again, I realize. Oops. So, we are in Chiang Mai and have some adventures ahead of us. The biggest adventure will be visiting an elephant farm. But that's not for another two days. In total, we have 6 days in Chiang Mai and we need to make the most of them. Day 1 was spent orienting ourselves, buying plastic raincoats that we now don't wear because we sweat more underneath them than getting wet, and planning our days. So, Day 1 orientation, Day 2 trekking through the jungle and whitewater rafting, Day 3 Patara Elephant Farm, Day 4 trekking through the Doi Inthanon Nature Reserve and climbing the highest mountain in Thailand, Day 5 relaxation, sleeping in, pedicure, manicure, massage, Day 6 departure to Ko Phangan. Sounds like a fantastic plan. As I said, we spent day one planning, strolling through Chiang Mai, getting a back massage, fish spa, and having dinner at the Chiang Mai Night Bazaar. A successful day off.
