So our next workplace is in Hawea.
From our track, it took us about 10 minutes to get to our new job.
Angela, our employer, is 30 years old and moved from England to New Zealand. She bought a property there with a large garden and two houses. We had a house for ourselves as workers (there were a total of 3 workers) and she was alone in the other house. We stayed with her for a week and prepared her garden (mowing the lawn, trimming bushes, and weeding). We also helped her for a day at work. She cleans vacation houses for other people that can be rented. She takes care of a total of 10 houses. All of them are very luxuriously furnished and very expensive to rent. After helping her at work, we went to a beautiful place by a river. We had a picnic and Daniel also went swimming. It was too cold for me. Angela told us at the beginning that once we finish the garden, we can have the rest of the week off. So, we worked for 6 hours on one day and 9 hours on the other day, so that the garden was nice and clean by the weekend, and we finished work on Thursday. That way, we had the entire weekend off (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday). However, it started raining on Friday, so we couldn't do anything. We just didn't do anything for a whole weekend and focused on the next job and looked where we need to go. It is in Cromwell, about 1.5 hours by car from Hawea.
So off to the next adventure in Cromwell.
