Tag 9 (2015) Abu Dhabi: Al Bandar, Yas Mall & Shangri-La Hotel

Day 9 – Relaxing

Today is a chill day. We visit Al Bandar Marina, a small promenade opposite our residential complex, but then escape the heat towards Yas Mall. It's already well over +30 degrees in the morning today - sweating.... We drive to Yas Island, past the F1 track Yas Circuit and the Ferrari World amusement park towards Yas Mall. There, the kids explore the trampoline & climbing park for 1 hour. After lunch, we drive back to the complex, get drinks from the Community supermarket in the small mall 'Gardens Plaza', where the most delicious cakes are displayed at the entrance today, and spend the afternoon at the community pool of the residential complex. Today we eat out for a change. And not just anywhere, but at the 5***** Shangri-La Hotel Qaryat Al Beri, with a view of the illuminated Sheikh Zayed Mosque. We end the evening with cocktails and enjoy the view. Very cool!
