Day 14 (2017) Bye Bye Abu Dhabi!

We start for the airport at 7 am. What kind of weather is it today??? Fog???

Ew - let's get out of here quickly 😅😂

After flying last year literally for an "apple & egg" thanks to employee tickets - but only had a standby return flight, we have now managed to get a discounted ticket again this time, but no longer flying stand by. It was clearly too exciting and simply not feasible when you have fixed working hours after returning (so the kids and I still have a few more days of vacation, but the husband has to go to the office tomorrow).

We check in much more relaxed than last year. The system automatically put us together as a family. Great. Despite the fog, we take off on time and land at home in good old Germany at 2:20 pm local time after a 6-hour flight with sunny +21 degrees!
