Day 3: Hiking in the Stubai Valley

Despite uncertain weather forecasts, we went hiking today. We walked with the children from the Herzebener Alm up to the Elferhütte, which meant 4 1/2 km spread over 500 meters in altitude. The children held up very well, but the view was also truly breathtakingly beautiful and there were cows everywhere. When we arrived at the hut, the children could play, there was lunch, and Jasper could fulfill a dream: he was allowed to fly with a paraglider. The way back was twice as fast as the way there, and the children lasted almost 9 km in total! Our host Klaus cooked for us as he did the night before, and as it actually became very rainy and cold in the evening, he heated up the stove so that we could watch football comfortably.
