The next morning, the sky had cleared again and I set off towards Vaduz. I had already been here in 2017 as part of the Rheinradtour, and admittedly, apart from the Prince's Residence, you can see everything important here within an hour. Nevertheless, the excursion is always worth it. Upstream, the Rhine became wilder and narrower (and cleaner). I could fully enjoy the scenery of the day.
However, the detour to Vaduz didn't take me as far as planned, and my rear wheel was increasingly worrying me. It started to wobble more and more. Upon closer inspection, I noticed that four spokes were already affected and the cracks in the rim had grown larger. Of course, it was Saturday evening, so I had little hope of finding a replacement quickly. But I managed to reach Chur, it had just started raining as I returned from shopping. With the help of the spoke tensioner, I was able to alleviate the problem (at least temporarily). After dinner, I went to bed early, as I had a lot planned for the next day.
