What a beautiful day
Juifen's Old Street is packed with food stalls, knick-knacks, and souvenir stands. In the oldest teahouse in the area, I could warm up briefly by the hot teapots. The temperatures are just below 20° and a very cold wind is blowing.
As more and more crowds pushed through the alley, it was time to change locations to the Golden Waterfall in Jinguashi. I wasn’t alone there either. So, we moved on to a massive lost place, an old copper refinery. Since everything here is highly regulated, of course, everything was fenced off.
The culinary discovery of the evening was Crispy Milk. These are fried balls, whose filling somewhat resembles the light mass of Kinder Chocolate in taste.
