Naples + Amalfi Coast 2026 - Day 5

The weather …

… is not on my side during this vacation. Yesterday, according to the weather app, the temperature felt like 'four degrees', the ferries are not operating today due to the weather, and there is a snow and ice warning for tonight. Whether that is actually realistic, I doubt.

Due to the lack of ferry service, I had to take the bus to Salerno. The city is not particularly spectacular, the Giardino della Minerva was quite nice, and there was a beautiful view over the city. The two museums connected with the garden close in the afternoon for three hours, so I had to skip them.
