Today I took a small boat trip to a small island 2 km off the coast of Trondheim. Munkholmen is a popular island for swimming and sunbathing. But Munkholmen is also rich in history. It was a monastery until the Reformation. In the 17th century, the Munkholm fortress was built, which later served as a state prison.
It's a nice little island with lots of greenery and a small beach. Although I didn't swim, I enjoyed the sun.
Later, I did some work in the garden. Today was unexpectedly a beautiful sunny day. Maybe tomorrow I'll take a fast boat to Kristiansund (not to be confused with Kristiansand, which is in the south of Norway).
We'll see, the weather is supposed to stay like this......
