Wonderful days are behind us and time seems to be racing. And as much as we are looking forward to our friends, our work, and our apartment in Leipzig, the lump in our throats grows bigger when we think about leaving.
Anne, my dearest cousin, has been with us for a week now and Philipp, a friend of Gustav's, arrived yesterday. This morning, the three of them set off: a two-day road trip to Schatili in the mountains and back. Meanwhile, I, Laura, am experiencing adventures of a different kind: Tomorrow, Rhia is invited to a children's birthday party at the East Point Mall. The invitation came in Georgian, the girl is English. I hope I find the way, it's best to leave two hours early already:-) After the birthday party (12-15pm), we will go to Rhia's friend Julia's place and Rhia will stay there overnight. (We make the most of each day here!) And during the birthday party, I will spend time with Ireen and Isaak - the mall is supposed to be huge. Yesterday, a father approached me and said that his son Simon talks about an Isaak every day, who has become his friend and whom he really likes - if I am Isaak's mother?! When I mentioned that next week would already be our last week at school, he was very disappointed.
And finally, the weather: It's wonderfully warm, 26 degrees and sunny, rainy at night.
