These cute trullo houses are absolutely beautiful.
We feel like we're in a different world in this village, like a film set for a gnome movie. We walk through the streets and we are delighted by this beautiful village and take many photos.
One of the trulli has its door open and a very lovely older woman invites us into her house. She shows us her charming home.
The children used to sleep upstairs, she says. She proudly shows us everything, we communicate with hand gestures. She opens a bottle of red wine and serves us snacks, even Schnuffi gets a cookie. We leave a few euros on a small donation plate and she is overjoyed. We take a farewell photo.
Who's looking out of the chimney here? 😻
The whole village was half in ruins and was gradually rebuilt. There are a few souvenir shops and some artists. Some trulli have been converted into holiday apartments and can be rented.
You just have to see this cute village 😍
The Trullo church
Just go there, it is the most beautiful village we have seen on our trip 🫶🏻
But be careful when parking, despite the paid parking fees we received a fine of 42 euros... Motorhomes are not allowed everywhere ☹️
