Thailand - 6th Stop: Koh Lanta

The main reason why we planned this trip in the first place is because we wanted to spend our birthdays in a different place. So we celebrated Ina's birthday on Koh Lanta. The island is a popular holiday region for families and part of the province Krabi. From Chiang Mai we booked a flight back to Phuket. The next day, a speedboat took us to Koh Lanta. The island was very quiet and empty during the off-season. Ina chose a room with a private pool for her birthday, which we made good use of. We rented bicycles and explored a large part of the island. Thailand is very hot and humid in September, so we took every opportunity to cool off in the sea. The water temperature was perfect at around 29 degrees Celsius. Therefore, our 5 days on the island consisted of cycling, eating, swimming, and strolling. On September 18, we celebrated Ina's 26th birthday in the pool with wine and snacks.
