11.-13.12. Around La Paz

On the 11th, we took a micro-bus (those are the great old buses) to the so-called Moon Valley. It is about 1 hour away from the city center. Moon Valley gets its name from the bizarre rock formations.

It was beautiful, but very hot.

On the 12th, we spent a lot of time riding the Teléferico (the cable car). It's great to see the city from above and float gently over the mountains and valleys.

On the 13th, we had our last breakfast at our favorite restaurant.

After that, we strolled through the Museum Alley.

Otherwise, we are mentally preparing ourselves for René's return flight to Germany tomorrow morning. 😭

That's probably why there was a thunderstorm with hail in the afternoon.
