Tag 13 - Mammoth Lake - Mono Lake - June Lake

At around 9 o'clock we headed towards Alabama Hills.

After a few photo stops, we continued on Highway 395 towards Bishop.

After a short stop at Starbucks, we continued towards Mammoth Lake.

Our first stop there was at Hill Top Tub in Owens Valley. It is a small pool filled with hot spring water.

Next, we planned to visit the Postpiles in Mammoth Lake. However, our drive was interrupted by heavy snowfall, so we only managed a brief photo stop at the ski resort in Mammoth Lake. In late May, you can still enjoy skiing/snowboarding there. Unfortunately, we didn't have the proper equipment 😃🙈

After that, we headed to Mono Lake. We visited the South Tufa Reserve, where tufa formations rise out of the lake.

Lastly, we went to June Lake where we spent our evening relaxing in the wellness area of the Double Eagle Resort and Spa.

Tomorrow, we will head to Lake Tahoe.
