Ponta Delgada, São Miguel Island, Azores, Portugal 🇵🇹

We have now spent two whole days in the Azores!

We haven't seen much yet! A deep Azores low 🙃 and a slight gastrointestinal upset have significantly restricted our range of motion.

The temperatures are okay, 16-18 degrees - but with rain and strong winds from the side, outdoor activities are just no fun!

Tomorrow we're going to Terceira (the 3rd island discovered at the time, 6 more were to follow). Maybe we'll have better luck there. After all, it is the island of revelers, so they say, and we are in the middle of carnival!
