Last day

Thursday. Our last day. We spent most of it on the USS Midway, which is an aircraft carrier that now serves as a museum ship. It was really well done, with audio guides available in many different languages, including German, where you could listen to short explanations and stories at various stations. There were also veterans everywhere, sharing everything they knew.

After the ship, we headed back to Los Angeles. We wanted to take one last look at the city from the Griffith Observatory. We will spend our last night in Santa Monica.
