Koh Phangan

Hello, everyone,

I'm still alive and enjoying my life.

After partying on Koh Tao on Sunday evening, Kim and I woke up in the morning, of course with a hangover, packed our things and decided to take the ferry at 10 o'clock to Koh Phangan, where we had booked a resort that we were really looking forward to.

When we arrived at the ferry, I was already a little sad to leave the island, so I might go back for a few more days at the end of the month :)

When we arrived at the pier, as always, all the taxi drivers rushed up to us and wanted to take us to their taxis to bring us to our resort. In the end, it cost us 100 Baht per person (2.5€) and we were dropped off right at the door.

About the hotel... just wow! It was so beautiful and we immediately felt at home, with a pool and right on the beach. The hotel owner was incredibly kind and helpful, which made it easy for us to book a tour around the island for the next day and organize the onward journey to Khao Sok.

On Tuesday, as I said, we took a tour where we explored the island with 5 stops and a small group. It was really cool and the guide, with his broken English, was very nice ☺️.

Yesterday, we just had a relaxing day by the pool with beach walks and tried to enjoy the heat, which is now easier when you get used to it.

In the evening, we went for a delicious dinner on the beach and enjoyed the tasty cocktails. Then we went to bed early because we had to get up early this morning as our journey continues to Khao Sok National Park.

Right now, I'm sitting in a mini van in Suratthani, trying to write all this while being rocked.
