From Koh Tao, we took the boat to Chumphon. From Chumphon, we wanted to continue the journey by train. The train to Prachuap Khiri Khan only left the next morning at 07:00. The ticket cost about 3.- for two people:)
Chumpon is more of a transit city and therefore doesn't have much to offer. After a visit to the night market and a delicious meal, we boarded the train the next morning.
The train ride was very exciting and interesting. Many vendors came by and sold all sorts of things. After about 3 hours, we arrived in Prachuap Khiri Khan. Since I caught a cold and had to stay in bed, Oli went on an exploration tour alone.
The next day, we went to the national park with wild elephants. We drove through the park in an open off-road vehicle and even saw two wild elephants. It was incredible to see these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat. The next day, we took the minivan to Ranong and then to Koh Phayam.
