Another report and some pictures about roads and mountains. Every day I become more calm with possible misfortunes. Breathing and looking at the stoic mountains help with that. It's very soothing. Sometimes you could think that the mountains have a magical attraction. Then I look at them and drive towards them, always following the road. These mountains are so beautiful and dignified. Different views keep appearing. Sometimes you can really interpret figures in them. And yet, they weather, that is unmistakable. But they take it calmly. Oh well.

I start at 6°C and a good wind, which was stronger or weaker depending on the region. From yesterday I learned that it's better to ride with winter gloves again. I would do that at home too with these temperatures.

Today I inspected construction sites again. There were some tricky spots. Even though I didn't want to do any off-road rides, I feel like I'm doing very similar things, just "on-road" 😁.

I also had the pleasure of dancing with the curves in the clouds. I was very relieved when the visibility got better again.

All in all, today I drove 266km more or less without a break. Roads No. 68 and 54 had the most kilometers.

When I arrived in Grundarfjörđur, I had to stretch my legs first and explore the place a bit, ate a hotdog and had a coffee in the supermarket. Then I checked into the guesthouse 'Grund' and greased the chain. Hildegard is very dirty.

Since it is still bright until 11 p.m., I have used the time to go for a walk. (This way I'm closest to the place where I am right now.)
