This morning we woke up thinking it wasn't too late. But when I looked at the clock, it was already half past 11... So we had slept quite well and long in our cabin and could have breakfast outside in pleasant temperatures and sunshine. We really enjoyed the morning and didn't leave until half past 2. Our destination was the city of Umeå, about 300 kilometers from Slagnäs. The route there was really beautiful and the nature impressed us a lot. On the way, we also encountered an unusually large number of reindeer, which often looked at us curiously.
So the first part of our journey passed very quickly. However, when we arrived at the place where we wanted to sleep, we unfortunately had to realize that it was in the middle of a residential area. We didn't want to sleep there. Alternative places were not marked on our app and if there aren't any there, there really aren't any. By now it was already quite late and we didn't really feel like driving anymore. But another campground? We didn't really feel like that either. So we drove another 1.5 hours to the vicinity of the town of Bodum. There we found a spot by a small lake.
By now it was already 9:00 PM. We set everything up and quickly had something to eat. Tired from the long drive, we are now lying in the tent and will go to sleep soon.
