Day 12 - Summer weather in the morning

The morning was simply fantastic, the sun was shining and we could walk around in shorts. So we had a leisurely and hearty breakfast before packing our things and exploring the area there.

Due to the good weather, we decided not to drive as much and instead have a day at the beach. Determined, we set off to explore the area. The nature was breathtakingly beautiful as always.

When we were on our way back to the car, we could already see that everything was getting darker... hardly arrived in the car, it started to rain, of course, and the weather radar also didn't look good. So we canceled our day at the beach and drove to the small town of Kristiansund.

It is very small but really nice. We stayed there for an hour and then decided to drive further to set up our campsite just before Trondheim because of the ongoing rain. And that's where we are now, and it has actually stopped raining and the sun has come out. Now we are enjoying the beautiful dry evening by a small fire and watching the sunset.

Until our major destination, the North Cape, it is still about 1600 kilometers away.
