In the morning at around 7:30 am, we first headed towards Seattle.
Isn't this an incredibly amazing picture with the sunrise.
Unfortunately, due to the 'good' weather, we didn't see much.
There was a short stopover planned for 50 minutes. It was just enough time for a quick visit to the restroom, and then we continued on. Boarding was announced for the onward flight to Los Angeles.
I would say something is happening here. It was the first flight with free WiFi on board, and it actually worked. We flew with Delta Airlines, which was really amazing compared to the rest we had before. The almost 3-hour flight time was greatly eased by a very selective entertainment program. I would recommend the last Pirates of the Caribbean movie - sorry, honey :-).
Allow me to introduce California and Los Angeles from above.
Palm trees yay *excited* it was just great to feel this pleasant warmth. The temperature was a pleasant 24 degrees.
Then, for the first time, we tried our luck with 'Uber', a kind of taxi company that is not welcome at airports, as it turned out later. They offer a very cheap way to get from A to B. Of course, it didn't work, but we had slowly gotten used to that. A similarly priced shuttle took us to our accommodations. More than shopping, eating, and showering did not happen on the first evening.
Tomorrow, we will finally have the eagerly awaited pictures from the beach. I'm going shopping now and then I'll go to bed slowly. Sleep well :-)
