Messe in München 🎥/ fair in Munich 🎥

Wotae: 06.11.2022

There I am again! 😄

I'm now making appointments in my calendar so that I can manage to post regularly! 😂

So, short summary of the second half of October.

From the university, we went to the Media Days in Munich on October 19th, where we were able to try things out. Various broadcasters were represented, such as Bayerischer Rundfunk, ProSieben, Kabel1, Arte... 😉

We were able to try out what it's like to host, how to dub, and how to record a radio feature. I really enjoyed reading the news. ☺️ I can definitely imagine working for a broadcaster once I've finished my studies. But maybe that will still change during my studies.

Do you remember the YouTube learning videos by Wissen2go? I met Drotschmann. 😂

I'm still convinced that I chose the right course of study. 🙃 Nothing against school days, but it's much more relaxing to deal with things that you are interested in yourself. 😅 All the projects and assignments I have to do for university inspire me to "research" further. 😜

For our video journalism lecture, I will be profiling a DJ from Würzburg together with two other students from my course. We have to plan and film everything ourselves for this study project. Oh man, how exciting. 🙊 Hopefully, the filming and editing will work out. 😊

Recently, I took the opportunity to participate in a television report for Welt. A working student from the 3rd semester sent a request to our freshman group. It was supposed to be a report about the different chip brands and how they perform in Stiftung-Warentest. So I thought, why not? I had nothing else planned -> let's do it. 😜😂

A two-hour shooting for two minutes of airtime. The things you do to be on ProSieben's Newstime once. 😃 Well, what I actually wanted to say is that I was able to gain good filming experience as a result. I found it impressive how quickly this report was edited. It was published on the same day. 😳😅 I'm definitely looking forward to more requests. 😁 But I will definitely try to eat fewer chips because I've heard that they're quite harmful... 😬

The last thing in October was my 21st birthday on October 25th. It's going way too fast. 🫣😂 If only you could stop time... Anyway, I celebrated a bit with one of my flatmates. We did a little birthday photo shoot. That can't be missed. 😄 We did it at the Schlossplatz in Ansbach. Afterward, we went to the castle café together. And yes... I went to university on my birthday and went straight to my lecture. 😅😂 I guess I'm still too motivated. 🤣

Last weekend, I was at home with my parents. Quite a long train journey to NRW. 😅 But I don't do that often. When I arrived, I was greeted belatedly with a little birthday table. How nice! 🥰 On the way back, we drove by car. It's much shorter. 👍🏻

Anything else new? I now work at New Yorker in the city where I live. Very exciting. 😆

So, that's it for now. Student life is sometimes not as exciting as you would wish. There is always so much to organize (at least for me). I'm slowly realizing that no one is running after me anymore. It's all about taking personal responsibility. 😂 It's fine, I'm almost accepting that I'm now one of the adults. (Haha)

See you soon! 🙂 And don't forget to check in from time to time in case there's a new post if you're still interested. ☺️

I'm still convinced that I have chosen the right course of study. 🙃 Nothing against school days, but it is really much more relaxing to deal with things that you are genuinely interested in. 😅 All the projects and tasks I have to do for university keep motivating me to "research" more and more. 😜
