Water damage repaired

We had a really peaceful night in the middle of Palermo. However, the water in the motorhome is getting alarming. The interior is wet in front of the bathroom, there is water in the bathroom, and the fresh water tank is mysteriously emptying. We need to do something.

We discover where the water is dripping, but of course, we can't reach it. At Hymer, there is naturally no one to ask on a Saturday. So we Google for addresses of dealers and also receive some from Hymer.

I remember reading about a workshop at the parking space, but I didn't know where exactly. On the way back from the toilet, I see an open garage door and ask around. It's a workshop! They tell us to come by.

And then they remove the entire water supply system in the bathroom and discover that the integrated pump in the shower faucet is broken. Here, everything is falling apart. After some not-so-easy communication, they add an extra switch for the water pump at the shower. Now it seems to be sealed.

We were lucky, fate led us exactly to the parking space with the workshop. It can only get better from here.

Later, we drive to Monreale. I visit the cathedral, which is really impressive. Our overnight spot is at Torre Pozillo. It looks good, but it could turn out to be a hangout for young people. More tomorrow.
