Tag 10 *15.07.2023 ƒe ɣleti gbãtɔ

For breakfast today we had (expensive) rolls from the Backeri in the fishing village of Å. The rolls are baked in the stone oven in the rustic bakery. They also have the (supposedly) best cinnamon rolls there. For 6 large cinnamon rolls, 2 chocolate coins and 4 rolls we got 42€. But it was delicious 🤤

We took our time today before we started because it always rained a bit and we had the hike to the Reinebringen ahead of us. From 11 a.m. the weather was supposed to get better... And that's how it was... So we arrived at the parking lot at 12 p.m. and started motivated on the first steps. It quickly became apparent that it sounds and looks as simple as it actually is. Nevertheless, 1.5 hours later we were able to enjoy an incredibly beautiful view of Reine and the surrounding area. I am always very pleased that I often have tears of emotion in my eyes.. I am so excited and happy about such moments. Again, the pictures don't show it as nicely as it actually was. At the top, with a fantastic view, we treated ourselves to the cinnamon rolls, apple & banana

But I had problems with my air up the hill and was quickly out of breath... I found the descent more difficult for my legs. Since there were definitely high levels and everyone was different...

Afterwards we treated ourselves to pizza, burgers and fish & chips in a bar/snack in Reine... (80€) And then... Then we found it 😃 THE soft ice cream 🤭😆 and of course we treated ourselves to a big one.. A small one would have been enough afterwards 🙈😁 it was always delicious.

Then we headed for the free standing area in Eggum to watch the midnight sun. And it has something. Sitting in the sunshine at 12:00 a.m., watching it (almost) set, kiss the sea and rise again...

2 o'clock we went to sleep in the tent...
