We finally have the bad weather behind us. The hurricane completely passed us by and yesterday we still had to contend with the foothills, lots of wind and thunderstorms.

But today it was stable so far, so we went out to the Everglades and of course we saw and even petted alligators. So we sat on this loud airboat like you see in the movies and an older redneck steers the thing through a mangrove jungle, after a few minutes we are all completely lost in the labyrinth and then a little alligator appears. About 5 meters long, the real deal.... There are some here that are 7 meters long and you can say that they grow about 30 cm a year, but they need a lot of fish for that.
