This post is live, meaning we are actually at the location of the report 😊. There isn't much to report, though, as we are somehow stuck or as our new friends, "the Crew" (www.overlanddiaries.com), would say, these are non-doing days. We're actually approaching a non-doing week. Oops. Currently, we are staying with a friendly couple (Swiss-Peruvian) who have turned their home into a fancy overlander parking space. Maggi is parked right on the beach, surrounded by palm trees and coconuts.
In addition to a huge ice cooler, the couple offers freshly baked bread, daily specials, and delicious Pisco Sour. Every now and then, a "Fruit Moped" comes by and supplies us with fresh watermelons, oranges, or bananas. Well, theoretically, we want to set off tomorrow and finally cross the border to Ecuador. The other pictures in this post are from the previous parking space. It's a real gem, too. After a long day of driving, we immediately jumped into the pool and the owner served us two Pisco Sours by the poolside - that's the life 😉.
