My experiences in India reflect my inner being in an extreme way.
In one moment, I am amidst chaos, street noise, and garbage everywhere. We ride through the city in a bumpy whirlwind on a tuk-tuk. A different image every second. Like a movie. Only in reality.
In the next moment, the chirping of birds in the park. The radiant sun. Peace, tranquility, and idleness. The brilliance of colors. The curiosity, helpfulness, and presence of the people. The magic of yoga. Simple living. The diversity and intense flavor of the food.
An up and down of emotions. Thoughts that come and go. Thoughts that are in complete contrast to each other. Scenarios of the future that could not be more different.
And behind it all lies the gentle silence... A deep gratitude. For everything that I am blessed to experience. And the gentle certainty that everything in life is going the right way.
I am allowed to trust. I am allowed to let go. I am allowed to surrender. To the flow of life.
