Good evening, ladies and gentlemen
This morning we slept in because we were exhausted from yesterday's day🙄🤦🏽♀️
But unfortunately, our feet didn't benefit much from that as they still hurt a lot this morning. We also have neck pain from carrying our trash bags for 6 hours🙄
Well, we still went out and visited Nan Lian Park and the associated temple. It's a small, cute park compared to the parks we've seen in China.
On the way back, we finally found a proper supermarket - and you wouldn't believe what they had there😍😍 we actually found normal whole grain toast bread, butter, cheese, and Italian salami. It was expensive, but totally worth it.
Then we went straight back to the hotel to indulge in the feast. A true taste experience for us 😍😍😍
Afterwards, we went to Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade, right in front of our door, and sat down and chilled a bit 🤙🏽😂 (our feet were hurting after all).
We quickly stopped by the hotel to pick up our laundry and take it to a laundry service (€3 for each with drying - absolutely in our budget 😛).
Then we went to the Street Night Market to get some food. Lara almost had a heart attack because there were so many backpacks there, and Jasna almost went into mourning because her headphones gave up on the flight here 🙄.
We actually found something to eat and could even identify (for the first time) what we just ordered and are going to eat 😛 it was really delicious.
It should be mentioned that Hong Kong is expensive compared to China, but acceptable compared to Germany. Our portions were absolutely sufficient🤙🏽 (yes, that's coming from us - our stomachs have shrunk to mini-size).
After that, we had a little strange experience - a guy wanted us to shoot a porn movie.. anyway.. we were a bit scared for our lives and for organ trafficking - so we politely declined.
Otherwise, no problem 😂😂
The Indians (there are so many here) from our street already know us. But we don't like them - 1. they want to sell us cocaine, weed, or ecstasy 10 times a day. 2. one of them told Lara that she's Russian. From now on, we don't like them.
Furthermore, there are incredibly many McDonald's and so on here.. you can also see that in the people here.. the more western it gets, the fatter people become🤷🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️ Of course, there are nowhere near as many overweight people as in Germany - but there are significantly more than in China so far 🤔
Afterwards, we went to the promenade with a bottle of wine and simply enjoyed the view.
This city is just crazy.
(We don't know what to do tomorrow yet - the weather is not supposed to be that good - 24 degrees but typhoon level 1). We'll just go downtown and check out the shopping mall, etc. We have more important plans for the next few days with good weather😛
